This term’s topic is called…
‘The Wind in the Willows’
As scientists and geographers we will be learning about ‘living things and their habitats’. We will be identifying and naming animals and plants in the school grounds and describing their different habitats, micro-habitats and basic needs. We will find out about the animals and geographical features in our story. We will use the local area to classify things that are alive, dead or have never been alive. Also we will be planting seeds and recording their growth.
We will continue working on our ‘School Health Award’ by taking part in activities linked to ‘National Smile Month’. There will be a special assembly about oral health and looking after our teeth. Look out for information.
We had great fun today with our Animal Magic Visit.
The children got chance to see and handle some animals they had never experienced before.
